Research topics for thesis
I supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses within my research areas and also welcome proposals beyond the topics listed below, particularly in Psychometrics. For bachelor’s theses, I generally recommend literature reviews. Master’s theses may involve more extensive work, such as empirical data analysis, re-analysis of published datasets, or Monte Carlo simulation studies.
I am also interested in software development, mainly in R, aimed at improving data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Current research areas include:
- Data analysis for the behavioral sciences
- Meta-analysis
- Meta-research and multiverse analysis
- Power and design analysis using Monte Carlo simulations
- Visual working memory, consciousness, and psychophysics
I am open to student proposals outside these areas as well. In such cases, my supervision will focus less on the specific topic and more on the research and writing process.
